While these can be found in digital form, having a hard copy is a fantastic advantage and I would highly recommend having them, if even for general reference. I have been an automotive technician and have been building cars for 35 years.

Yes as a repair manual and as a collection. It gives you every single detail for any replacement or repair. If it was a damaged book for sale then price it as so. As for a product wise I fully recommend this manual. Now that I have the only copy, I am the rightful King of E30's.
Knowledge is Power, and I have it all. Kneel before your Master, insects! Car maintenance. After looking through this book and doing a few repairs, I have come to the conclusion that it is pretty good but, could be better. Here are my issues: -pictures are black and white and sometimes hard to know what you're looking at; -it doesn't include the ix -instructions were written a long time ago meaning that common problems that happen to e30s after two decades of wear and tear are not talked about much.
If you have some weird issues, check internet forums, chances are its a common problem a million others have seen. This is the best manual, hands-down! I have been using my paperback version for over 10 years, and it always has the information I need. I recently did a complete engine rebuild, and this manual walked me through everything I needed to know. I is a must for any serious projects, and my i would not be in perfect condition without this book.
